ANAS Bridge in Nizza Monferrato:
Safety and Innovation Thanks to Custom Baglem Obstacle Lights
Baglem Srl provided quality products for a strategic intervention on the cable-stayed bridge in Nizza Monferrato, managed by ANAS spa. It involves a medium-intensity type B SOV light with customized features to ensure safety, visibility, and compliance with international standards.
To meet the specific needs of the client, Baglem designed and created fully customized solutions, including a triple-chamber SOV lamp and a mounting system specially designed to fit the structural characteristics of the bridge.
The SOV light produced represents an evolution of Baglem technology: it is a vertical modular system with three chambers, consisting of one operational light and two emergency lights. Two independent emergency lights, capable of automatically activating in case of failure of the main light.
This innovative design offers greater luminous efficiency and guarantees maximum safety in case of malfunctions or emergency situations, ensuring optimal visibility in all conditions.
For this intervention, Baglem designed and created a custom mounting system, engineered to perfectly adapt to the specific structural features of the bridge and positioned in a particularly critical point. This approach ensured stability, safety, and durability, even in difficult environmental and climatic conditions.
In particular, Baglem made a custom vertical bracket, designed to guarantee stable and lasting mounting even in the presence of vibrations or adverse weather conditions. The structure is made with corrosion-resistant materials, such as galvanized steel or anodized aluminum, and is equipped with pre-drilled holes for quick and safe wall mounting, as well as lower holes for inserting steel cable trays, allowing for orderly and safe management of electrical connections.
All of this respecting the ICAO regulations regarding obstacle lighting.
